If you are physically fit, eating the right things, active and getting between 6 and 8 hours sleep every night and always tired, you may have a more serious problem.

You could be anaemic. People with anaemia lack iron in their red blood cells. A sign of anaemia is when your lips split. If this is happening to you then iron tablets can help plus changing your diet to include more iron.

Although you are in bed 6 – 8 hours, you may not be sleeping properly (you may have the quantity but not the quality of sleep you need). You may be suffering from the sleeping disorder – sleep apnoea. This disorder causes you to stop breathing, only for a moment but will disturb you sleeping patterns. If this is happening to you then you need to visit your doctor who should direct you to a specialist.

If your diet is fine but you’re always feeling tired then you might have an allergy to something you’re eating. Having an allergy to a particular food group prevents you from absorbing all the nutrients you need. Finding out which food groups is causing the allergic reaction requires a degree if trial and error. Remove one food type at a time from your diet to assess any differences you experience. Failing that, you could visit your doctor or dietician for a test.

One thing you should reduce in your diet is caffeine. Caffeine is a well known stimulant and works in the short term in giving you a boost. Over the longer term however, consuming too much can lead to fatigue. Caffeine is found in tea, coffee and some chocolate. If you are finding it difficult then try a decaffeinated coffee type.

Finally, a more serious problem may be heart disease. If you heart isn’t working properly then the isn’t flowing as it should and you may not be getting the levels of oxygen you need to vital parts of the body. Activity, even the less strenuous can lead you to feel always tired, even if you didn’t in the past.

Overall, always feeling tired may mean there is some underlying problem that needs solving. While you may engage in self diagnosis, it is the best to be safe and visit your doctor. Hopefully it won’t be anything serious but you can’t be too careful. By taking some professional advice you won’t be always tired.

If you are always tired then it’s no doubt frustrating, however, you can relax safe in the knowledge that you’re not the only person suffering from this condition. I have suffered from fatigue for years. always feeling tired affects many people in today’s modern society in every country in the world and I often hear my mates complaining about being always tired.

Most people use stimulants to give themselves an energy boost. Many people use energy drinks, caffeinated and sugary drinks as they feeling it gives them a boost. Coffee is by far the most popular stimulant in use at fighting tiredness. As a student my liquid intake consisted mostly of coffee (and a little alcohol of course!).

If you are always tired in the morning, then a cup of coffee might be enough to motivate you. However, if you are always tired then stimulants are unlikely to work, they can actually cause you to be more tired because you are forcing your body to work harder. If you are tired all of the time then you need to treat the condition rather than the symptom.

Coffee is thought to relieve the feeling of being always tired, right? So why would it cause more tiredness? Even if you know that you’re tired, a cup of coffee will force your body into working more. Caffeine triggers a type of gland, the adrenal gland, to produce adrenalin. The effects of this release of adrenalin are short lived, they won’t last long. They will help you to feel better for a little while. After the effects have worn off you will feel worse than before as your body is even more exhausted. When you feel tired you may feel the need to enjoy another cup of coffee, you see it’s a vicious circle!

It’s easy to get caught up in the coffee drinking cycle, thinking it will make you feel better. Everybody at work does it. You can see the queue forming in the kitchen prior to a long meeting to ensure they get their caffeine fix. However, as a result of your coffee addiction it will make you feel worse, also the coffee can make you irritable and cause you to endure headaches.

If you’re always tired then coffee won’t help you, it only works as a temporary pick me up. Stimulants only mask the symptoms of the tiredness, they do not actually treat the condition at the root of the problem. And so even though the symptoms are being treated, it won’t help you.

Stimulants will cause you to continue pushing your body too hard, it just can’t continue doing what it’s doing at the moment and so you will be left suffering from chronic tiredness.

If you’re always tired then it’s important to stop doing whatever you’re doing to make yourself tired. You should stop drinking coffee! Of course you should probably try to wean yourself off the coffee rather than quitting cold turkey.

If you can’t give up coffee completely then you should at least cut down the amount you drink. Try to reduce the amount that you drink every day. Of course few people actually want to do this for one reason or another. Drinking coffee becomes a sociable habit which you partake in with work colleagues, friends and family.

If you’re not willing to cut down on your coffee intake then you should at least drink your coffee at the same time each day. This really does make a difference, as your body will get used to this. Your body knows when it will be getting its coffee fix, and so adapts and is ready to accept this. This reduces some of the negative effects caused by coffee.

Now if you need an extra incentive to cut out your coffee then here goes…If you drink too much coffee then it can actually cause an iron deficiency known as anemia, vitamin deficiencies, or adrenal exhaustion. None of those really sound like a walk in the park now do they?!

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is also commonly known as chronic fatigue dysfunction syndrome. CFS is often characterized by symptoms that are also associated with many other conditions such as high blood pressure, or flu.

The person doesn’t just feel tired but endures being always tired for very long period of times and can experience muscle cramps, headaches, nausea and other symptoms. These symptoms do not resolve themselves with long rests. The tiredness caused by chronic fatigue syndrome prevents the person from living a normal life. It can also affect a persons relationships, as CFS can make a person irritable and confused.

As we’ve already mentioned the symptoms of CFS are very similar to those of influenza and high blood pressure. This can make it difficult to diagnose the condition, however there are some differences.

The condition is not resolved with treatments for flu even if some of the symptoms are relieved. If a person suffers from feeling always tired for over than six months, then it’s more than likely to be chronic fatigue syndrome. To get yourself on the track to recovery it’s important to embark on the treatment.

There are also additional symptoms caused by chronic fatigue syndrome. These can be muscle or joint pain, irritability, and feeling always tired even after you’ve rested for a long period of time. If you suffer from consistent headaches that are similar to migraines then these could be caused by chronic fatigue syndrome.

Forgetfulness, and fevers are also caused by chronic fatigue syndrome, which is why it’s often confused with flu.

Chronic fatigue syndrome does have certain and specific symptoms. It can be difficult to diagnose, however, if a person suspects that they are suffering from this condition it is much easier to identify it and avoid making an incorrect diagnosis.

A wide variety of different causes can cause chronic fatigue syndrome, these causes can affect you individually, or in groups! Some experts believe that wounds can cause chronic fatigue syndrome, and so could be caused by surgery.

The exact cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is currently unknown, and so is the cure. There isn’t a permanent cure to this condition. There are treatments that help you to reduce the feeling of being always tired that you are suffering from. The treatments can also help you to live a normal life.

Long term treatments are not yet available, and there isn’t any way to permanently cure yourself. Your best bet is a lifestyle change which can help suffers feel more energized and live a more fulfilled and contented life.

Everybody nowadays has very busy and stressful lives, most of these will experience tiredness at some time during their working careers. Normally just a good night’s sleep and a little rest will be enough to resolve the symptoms.

For some people tiredness can become more of a problem. Most people don’t realize that this is actually a medical condition, they will just tell you that there’s nothing wrong with you, all you need to do is get some more sleep.

Some of the popular suggestions to cure your tiredness won’t work in the long run. Drinking cups of coffee may help in the short run, however it is unlikely to be sufficient to resolve the underlying problem.

Some people can only manage to sleep for a couple of hours every night, but don’t actually suffer from any problems with tiredness. Margaret Thatcher is one of the most famous people known to be like this, she only needs 4 hours of sleep every night to function correctly.

A number of things can cause tiredness, sometimes a combination of these things can cause the problem.

Here is a list of the main reasons that can make you feel tired.

Tiredness can be caused by physical exhaustion. Tiredness can cause you to avoid doing any strenuous activities, however, by not partaking in exercise you will become more unfit and then suffer more as a result.

Tiredness can also be caused by emotional reasons. Stress and worry are common parts of today’s lifestyle, however, both of these take a lot of energy and can leave you feeling drained and tired. Depression can easily cause you to be always tired.

Lifestyle can cause tiredness, for example, if you look after small children, or dogs it can be very exhausting!

Many different illnesses and medications can cause you to feel tired. It’s worthwhile looking at the side effects of any medication you are going to take and mentioning to your doctor that you suffer from chronic tiredness.

Of course if you don’t get enough sleep it will leave you always tired and confused.

It is normally possible to increase your energy levels. By increasing your energy levels it should also help to improve your concentration, memory and your social life. No more saying “I feel too tired to go out”!

When we are down in the dumps we often dread getting out of bed in the mornings, and we are also irritable. By taking some of the steps below it should be possible to improve your daily life.

Alarm clocks aren’t good things, for a start mine glows in the dark so I can’t sleep and then it feels the need to wake me up anyway! Think about how fantastic it would be if you could wake up without needing to use an alarm clock, you would feel so relaxed!

Think about what it would be like to go out at night and still have enough energy to have a good time. Imagine what it would be like not to need as much sleep as you used to need.

All of these things are within your reach, all you need to do is change your life so that you can have these. You just need to realize that tiredness is a condition and it must be treated. You should discover why you feel tired so you can cure it.

Anybody can treat the symptoms of feeling always tired, but that wont do anything unless you actually treat the cause of your tiredness.

It can be difficult for any doctors to actually diagnose fatigue, this is especially true in the case of chronic fatigue syndrome. Fatigue is considered to be a symptom of something else, and not a condition in its own right. However, chronic fatigue syndrome is wreaking havoc on the lives of so many people that feeling always tired. Chronic fatigue syndrome can result in depression, and the individual being unproductive.

This condition doesn’t just take its toll on the sufferer alone, it can also affect the whole family. It can cause family members to become impatient because they get so frustrated! It can also put a strain on friendships if after work, university or college you don’t have the energy to meet with your friends.

It’s normal for people to feel tired, especially when you’ve just had to entertain the in-laws! But chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is much more serious than normal tiredness. CFS is when the feeling of being alwys tired actually starts to interfere with the normal day to day lives of sufferers and their friends and family. tiredness doesn’t last as long as CFS. CFS normally lasts a minimum of 6 months without any apparent illness causing it.

CFS is often said to simply be a problem that the patient has made up in their own mind, however anybody suffering from this condition can vouch for it being real! Many more women suffer from CFS than men.

CFS sufferers may notice headaches, problems sleeping, irritability and depression. There are also some physical symptoms that affect some sufferers including fevers, sore throats, or even aching muscles.

Fatigue is commonly caused by another underlying disorder, this could be diabetes, PMS, serious infections, low blood pressure, or low blood sugar.

More and more doctors are starting to realize that CFS is a condition in its own right, however, the experts cannot agree on a cause. Some experts believe that previous viral infections, high or low blood pressure, mercury poisoning, and even drug use can cause an onset of CFS.

If you are somebody who is suffering from being always tired then there are things that you can do so that you won’t feel so tired. It is possible to fight against your fatigue, the best way is to exercise often and also get plenty of rest. You should avoid taking drugs, and drinking alcohol or caffeine.

If you are tired all the time and constantly asking yourself “why am I always tired?” then make an appointment with your doctor. Get yourself tested to see if you are suffering from a low thyroid function, hypoglycemia, or any allergies.

You should take vitamin supplements which should improve your body’s balance of vitamins and chemicals. Vitamin B is commonly used to treat patients suffering from low energy. Vitamin B is found in sardines, beef, salmon, and milk.

Magnesium is a natural mineral that is important to encourage extra energy. Any deficiencies in magnesium can cause weakness in the muscles. To increase magnesium intake you should eat more wheat germ, almonds, pecans, tuna and hazelnuts. Make sure you also eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, you should eat more citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables and potatoes.

You can treat chronic fatigue syndrome by drinking chia seeds soaked in warm water. You should be able to find these seeds in your local health food shop and can be added to oatmeal if desired. Native Americans used these seeds to improve their energy levels.

If you take any artificial energy boosters make sure you consult your doctor beforehand. If you do start to notice any side effects you must immediately stop using it, even if you aren’t always tired anymore.

Chronic fatigue is a serious medical condition where a person feels always tired. It affects thousands of people all around the world. The exact cause of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is unknown, although many experts argue about the exact causes.

The adrenal gland is a gland within the body that is responsible for secreting hormones into the bloodstream. The adrenal gland is in control of cortisone and dhea.

These hormones control a wide variety of different systems within the body, these include the immune system, energy, and stress.

Chronic fatigue syndrome often causes the adrenal gland to become overworked, and so levels of these hormones are depleted. This can affect the body’s natural hormone balance.

There is a complicated system known as the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA). If you paid attention in your biology classes then some of those names may already be familiar with you. Basically, all of these are different gland and these glands affect one another. If one of the glands is not functioning correctly then the others will also start to function incorrectly.

In many chronic fatigue sufferers there is a problem that affects the hypothalamus. It’s not clear why the HPA axis is affected in patients.

There are some things that you can do to relieve the symptoms caused by the overworking of the adrenal gland. Patients can take supplements made out of animal glands to take some of the heat off the adrenal gland. Pantothenic acid is another product which can help to relieve the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome.

We already mentioned the hormone dhea, this is important in fatigue patients. Dhea is the base product for hormones such as testosterone and cortisol, vitamin supplements normally go some of the way to reduce your feeling of being always tired and also reduce any confusion experienced by patients.

Patients that suffer from CFS often have a week immune system, so these vitamin supplements also help to boost the immune system, they can help your body to defend itself from any bacterial and viral infections.

So, in conclusion, there is a link in some patients between the adrenal gland functions and chronic fatigue. Many CFS sufferers have a reduced adrenal gland function. If you are experiencing being always tired then you should go to visit your doctor to get checked out for adrenal fatigue.

There are a number of diseases such as Addison’s disease that could be causing the reduced functions of the adrenal gland, therefore a test is required so you can rule this out.
