can it happen at only 2 weeks pregnant?
Most women don’t even know that they are pregnant at 2 weeks. But to answer your question, tiredness can come at any stage of pregnancy, every woman and her body is different while carrying a child. So some women may experience it the whole 9 months while others may experience it only in the 3rd trimester.

This week in our office we have a bug going around that is giving us all some odd symptoms. We have all felt tired and achy, but there are other weird symptoms that are bothering us! We all feel very panicked and shaky for no reason, we feel like there is a huge weight pressing on our skulls and nauseous, as well as cold.
None of us are particularly unwell in terms of a head cold, actual vomiting or diarrhoea but it is annoying.
What is it?
When your body is fighting a bug it sends all of its energy and resources into getting rid of the bug. This means that the rest of your body feels low in energy and and shaky. Make sure you are eating properly and drinking enough water and you will all feel better soon.

Sometimes I’m just overwhelmingly tired and need to lay down for awhile. Then I feel better but then I haven’t accomplished a lot. At least after I rest I am able to do things again. What is Chronic Fatique all about?
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Epstein-Barr Syndrome is a lymph node problem which lowers your resistance. You can be diagnosed with simple blood tests. Ask your Dr. to do a blood panel with a Mono-panel. Then he might prescribe vitamins or exercise for you. Good luck and feel better. I have CFS and Fibromyalgia and I know how you feel – don’t get down on yourself for allowing yourself to work on your exhaustion and not doing another load of laundry!

Recently had a lot of severe headaches and felt tired a lot during the day.
It could be anything ranging from possible pregnancy to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It could be that you’re not getting enough nutrients or eating right. And it could even be stress.
If it’s just recently that it’s been happening (within a couple of weeks to maybe even a month or two) I’d say it’s just stress and I’d suggest to try to relax. Hot bath, soothing, etc.
If it’s disrupting your life or routine I would suggest talking to your family doctor. I doubt it’s anything serious, but if it’s really messing up your routine and possibly even how you function then I’d go get checked to see what it could be.

I take one stelazine (anti psychotic) after dinner, one alodorm (sleeping pill) when I go to bed and 4 glasses of vodka to wash down the alodorm. How do I cure drowsiness and body aches the next day?
I didn’t tell him about the vodka but I spoke to him only recently and he changed my dose but it’s still happening. It’s hard to handle the restlessness and tiredness everyday.
any of these meds ( I’m glad you know that vodka is a med!) or combination these these could cause the symptoms you describe. When was the last time you spoke with your doctor about your medication ( including the vodka)?
Could be other factors are involved as well- for instance, is your diet healthy, are you taking any exercise? Drugs and alcohol are not the only way to tackle anxiety, depression and insomnia.

I started having trouble sleeping way to much about six months into taking the medication. Since then the only medication that has not changed is Lamictal. Can Lamictal maybe slowly wear down the body system, or cause something to build up?
I’ve been taking Lamictal for 3 years and I am tired a lot of the time. I am decreasing my dose and weening off of it now. I am hoping that will help. It’s a blood level drug, so it could certainly take time to build up enough in your blood before you get the full side effects. Just remember to look out for the rash!!

Just before my period I get really tired, and sleep for like half the day, and it makes me feel really down. Is there anything I can do to avoid this?
Pay attention to your diet and try to eat healthy foods, even though you are craving junk food alot probably. Also drink enough fluids and water, and get plenty of rest. Let yourself sleep extra if you have to…it’s ok to pamper yourself, especially if you’re feeling blah.

I feel very tired most of the time and have very little energy. I find that i have more energy if i go without masturbating for a while, but as soon as i do it again i feel quite bad again and not just afterwards but for days. I know i had low hormones at one stage, but they arn’t supposed to be affected by it. Does this happen to anyone else and what is it that causes it?
Probably for the same reason you get tired after SEX – it’s because your body DOES go into "workout" mode…
Your heart races, you start to sweat, your muscles contract – ALL the same things that happen when you’re pumping iron.
I’ll let you make your own jokes on THAT one
;);)

I had an ultrasound at 8w2d and there was a heartbeat of 167 bpm – nice and strong! I have had minimal symptoms – breasts hurting on and off, tiredness, little to no nausea. Today, my breasts don’t feel tender and I am very emotional because I don’t feel pregnant. What are the chances of that horrible event happening at this stage of my pregnancy? I have no pains by the way. Just worried.
I think being all emotional because you don’t feel pregnant IS a pregnancy symptom! I had a lot of days like that! lol Just relax, symptoms come and go and vary in intensity and are different for everyone.
