I always feel tired and fatigued even when I get enough sleep what can i do?

February 15th, 2010 . by admin

I work out about 4 times a week some power walking weight lifting but I always feel tired and fatigued even when I get enough sleep what should I be eating and doing that can restore me some energy?

Fruit, veggies and lean protein.
Also try to avoid foods that will cause your blood sugar to spike, you’ll just crash harder later.

I’m 14 And I’m Always Feeling Tired?

February 12th, 2010 . by admin

I’m only 14 years old, and i been really tired. So tired, sometimes i feel nauseous. And around the weekend i sleep well enough.(Around over 9 hours), but when i go to school i always feel sleepy in class, and when i wake up i still feel ultra tired.

-I’m not really sport active ( i don’t like sports )
-I don’t really exercise
&
I don’t know if i have iron deficiency anemia, i just want to know how i can stop feeling tired.

Or it could be the fact that you’re 14 and going to school in the morning.

Does school seem boring as hell? I bet the most boring classes are the ones you’re most likely to get tired in aren’t they. Boring classes make me sleepy too.

You’re fine. ^_^

The way to stop feeling tired is, well, exercise. It helps. It would have to be in the morning to really wake you up and get the blood pumping. Not some light exercise, but something that kicks your butt and makes you feel exhausted. Sure, it seems strange, but it does wake your body up once you get back into a relaxed state.

It’s not going to make it go away, but it’ll help make it better. ^_^

Congratulations on being normal.

I need a quick and efficient energy boost….Any suggestions please? Always feeling tired need to work!?

May 2008: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee Testimony

January 14th, 2010 . by admin

This is my personal testimony before the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee (CFSAC) in May 2008. It is a chartered committee that meets twice yearly, and provides recommendations to the Secretary of Health within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The committee consists of clinicians who specialize in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), often times referred to as Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS), members of the CDC, the NIH, the SSA, and other federal government entities. I’ve been hesitant to post the clip because I was nervous, and feel I could have done a better job on my delivery, however I think the message is worth disseminating. In addition, “my story” is quite personal, but my intent was to garner the attention of the committee members, and try to put a young, male face to CFS.

without any reason always feeling tired?

January 9th, 2010 . by admin

I don’t know why, but I feel so tired lately, I go to sleep early but still I stay tired. I really have to force myself at work, not because I don’t like the job, but because I am to tired to do it. I must say my job is tiring, I clean houses.
What can I do to get some energy?

Whenever you go to a doctor, ask them to draw some blood and check your thyroid. It may be underactive (hypothyroidism). Ask for a T-4 test or TSH test. An underactive thyroid causes weight gain, anemia, paleness, coldness, water retention, low energy, constipation, depression, brittle nails and dry hair. To solve this problem, they may give you a small pill to take every a.m. on an empty stomach, in order to add some synthetic hormone replacement-like Synthroid.

In my line of work i work alot of hours, always feeling tired! Started getting nosebleeds, whats wrong with me?

December 29th, 2009 . by admin

I used to get regular (and terrible!) nosebleeds, and it eventually became apparent that it was seasonal.

Turns out that it’s hayfever in my case. I take an antihysthamine during hayfever season and I hardly ever get them now and if I do, they are over and done with very quickly.

Hadn’t ever heard of nosebleeds as a symptom of hayfever, but there you go!!
