why have i have dark rings under my eyes and am always tired?

December 10th, 2009 . by admin

i sleep for 8 or More hours i day, am healthy i eat a balanced diet.. am not over weight am size 12 and prob just over 5ft.. but i have dark rings under my eyes and am always always tired… even when i wake up in a morin!… any reason for this?

You might be anaemic – try seeing a doctor. If it is not this the doctor may be able to do some tests to make sure there’s nothing wrong with you.

The dark circles could just be genetic – I have them even though I get plenty of sleep – invest in a good eye cream and concealer!

And drink plenty of water – it’s good for keeping you alert and hydration won’t hurt the dark circles either.

(I am assuming this is a long-term problem. If it has only come on recently – could you be pregnant?)

You sleep far too long. 7 hours is more than enough. Try getting up a bit earlier. I get black rings under my eyes if I sleep too much.

my advice better check up with a doctor, this case might be dangerouse without seeking presciription from a medical authority

This could be a thyroid problem, consult your GP, he can do a simple blood test to determine if this is the problem and there are a range of treatments for this depending on whether it is overactive or underactive including medication and different diet, hope this helps

If you’re on the computer all night long and immediately get off to sleep, that’s bad. You should get off a computer and stop watching TV an hour before your "bedtime" . Watching TV and playing on computer stimulates your brain and makes it harder to settle down faster!

Now if you eat right before you sleep, that’s a no no too. You burn calories when you sleep, and if you’ve eaten and immediately went to sleep your body has to process that food so it uses energy and takes away from your good sleep and energy for the next day! This also triggers weight gain.

If you did none of those things it’s okay too, you should just wake up and get either milk or cold green tea, get a cosmetic wedge or a cottonball square and put it under your eyes to sit for 4 minutes!

Hope this helps you out. :]

maybe you sleep too much. i only sleep about 5-6 hours a night and if I get more than that I will usually feel more tired than if I only got a few hrs of sleep. Eat breakfast too, that will give u more energy.

You could possibly have an issue with your Iron. If i were you I would see a doctor. Have him/her check your iron. And if you do have low iron make sure to take iron supplements.
